On January 20th, 2024 the first house concert as part of our monthly series was kicked off by the Eugene Difficult Music Ensemble (EDME). The evening was spent enjoying the full gamut of musical expression in contemporary art music. Traditional scores were used on one piece while graphic scores were used on another. Electronic soundscapes were performed with on one piece while a string ensemble traveled through an indeterminant score. What a great experience for students to hear less familiar outlets of contemporary musical expression. Thanks EDME for sharing the music!
